Known for its floor-to-ceiling windows that create a fairytale-like atmosphere, it offers an elegant and timeless backdrop for any celebration. And when Josh and Arman chose it for their autumn wedding, I knew we wouldn’t need to do much to make the venue come to life.

The venue’s natural beauty was complemented with pops of autumnal florals, which set the tone for the day. From the ceremony arch to the table décor, we selected florals in rich hues of red, orange, and green, echoing the seasonal charm of Melbourne's autumn. The simplicity of the floral designs allowed the beauty of Panama Dining Room’s architecture to shine, while still creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt romantic.

One of the elements I always love to see at weddings are the personal touches that reflect the couple’s unique style and story. For Josh and Arman, these were handmade wedding favours, which were a heartfelt and elegant gesture. Homemade cookies, created by the couple themselves and carefully selected local gin were given to each guest as a token of appreciation. It’s these kinds of thoughtful details that elevate a wedding from just an event to a deeply meaningful celebration.

Food was also an essential part of their wedding day, and Panama Dining Room certainly delivered. From start to finish, the meal was exceptional — providing guests with a true taste of Melbourne's renowned dining scene.

As the speeches wrapped up and the night began to wind down, the atmosphere shifted from sentimental to celebratory. A deejay took over the decks, spinning a mix of 90s and 2000s classics that had everyone up on their feet. The music was the perfect way to transition from heartfelt moments to a lively celebration, with guests dancing the night away to nostalgic tunes that everyone could enjoy. The dance floor was never empty, and it was clear that everyone—young and old—was having the time of their lives.
